HFX Opens Media Accreditation for 2022 Forum
October 6, 2022

Washington, DC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HFX is pleased to open media accreditation for the 2022 Forum, taking place November 18 to 20 in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada).

In its 14th year, the Halifax International Security Forum is the world’s largest and most significant gathering of democratic defence leaders committed to global security and prosperity.

Since the last Forum, the global defence and security landscape has changed significantly. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a defining moment. Peace can no longer be taken for granted.

This is a must-attend event that brings together democratic leaders, military strategists, security experts, and members of the media engaged in pressing global peace and security challenges.

Hosted by the Hon. Anita Anand, Canadian Minister of National Defence, the 2022 Halifax International Security Forum will feature more than 300 participants from more than 60 countries across six continents helping to shape strategic thinking leading into 2023.

Members of the communications team can provide you with all advisories, releases, session recaps, and other related materials, as well as facilitate interviews with speakers and key participants.

Media unable to attend the Forum in-person can live stream the plenaries and press conferences via high definition broadcast on our website, or via Facebook Live by liking our Facebook page. We can also facilitate international media requests to carry our clean feed from the floor to facilitate simultaneous translation into any language.
