WASHINGTON, DC – HFX today announced the 2024 class of its landmark Peace With Women Fellowship.  The program, now in its seventh year, is a three-week executive study tour designed to fully equip senior female military officers from NATO and NATO-partner countries for their future leadership positions.

“Women’s leadership in international security leads to more peaceful and equitable outcomes,” said Peter Van Praagh, President of HFX.  “Which is why HFX is thrilled to welcome 13 leaders to the 2024 Peace With Women Fellowship, including, for the first time, an officer from Ukraine.”

Among the career highlights of the 2024 Fellows:
34 higher education degrees
33 deployments
310 years of combined service

“Because security in Europe and security everywhere else is so closely intertwined, the Fellows will begin their tour at United States Indo-Pacific Command,” Van Praagh said.  “Understanding those connections at a strategic level is key to the global expansion of the program.”

The program begins October 29 and includes meetings with senior military, political, business, technology and thought leaders in Canada and the United States and concludes at Halifax International Security Forum where the Fellows will participate alongside ministers, legislators, general officers, industry leaders and experts from the world’s democracies. Fellows will visit Honolulu, Washington DC, Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax.
