Job Description

Are you a recent graduate passionate about international affairs, with exceptional writing skills and a flair for design? HFX seeks Program Associates to play integral roles in our global initiatives. These positions offer the chance to make connections and develop skills for a successful career in international affairs. Program Associates will enjoy a flexible four-day workweek and a nurturing growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • • Liaise with political decision-makers, military officers, and industry leaders;
  • • Manage event invitations, registrations, and travel logistics;
  • • Conduct research on potential speakers and participants;
  • • Draft impactful language for communications;
  • • Maintain database integrity and stay updated on global events;
  • • Embrace opportunities to learn about global security issues.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor's degree in language, literature, philosophy, art, history, or equivalent;
  • • Passion for promoting democracy, opportunity, and peace;
  • • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills;
  • • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail;
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize with minimal supervision;
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • • Previous event management, web design, and social media experience a plus.
