WASHINGTON, DC – The 2014 Halifax International Security Forum will take place November 21-23 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Now in its sixth year, the annual Forum features democratic leaders and thinkers who gather to address the most pressing international security challenges.
“We are proud that leaders from around the world meet at Halifax at the end of the calendar year to set priorities about international security and stability into the new year” said Peter Van Praagh, President of the Halifax International Security Forum.
The Halifax International Security Forum brings together individuals who are on the ground facing consequential local threats, writers who challenge and influence the world’s thinking on security, and decision-makers who make the tough choices.
