2012 Overview

The 2012 Halifax International Security Forum takes place November 16-18 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Halifax has established itself as a must attend place for thoughtful and engaged leaders who deal with defense and security issues to come together to learn from each other, share opinions, generate new ideas, and put them into action.

Halifax is a dynamic and innovative event held in an informal, unscripted, discussion-based atmosphere. Discussions between panelists and the participant experts are interactive, free-flowing exchanges that tackle sensitive topics that other conferences shy away from. Foreign Affairs, Halifax International Security Forum’s new and distinguished media partner, strengthens that tradition. Foreign Affairs is the leading source for ideas and analysis on foreign policy and international relations—and thus an ideal partner for Halifax.
