“Every November, thoughtful leaders from democratic countries meet in Halifax, Nova Scotia to address the world’s toughest security challenges. We are proud that the Congressional Delegation, Co-Chaired by Senators Tim Kaine (D-Va) and John McCain (R-Az), contributes substantially to the conversation every year.

“It is our judgment that solutions for a more secure and peaceful world begin with sharing ideas and experiences. The impact that the annual Congressional Delegation makes is fundamental to the conversation.

“I thank Co-Chairs Senator Kaine and Senator McCain for their dedicated leadership at Halifax International Security Forum and look forward to welcoming them back to the 8th Halifax International Security Forum November 18-20 in Halifax.”
