November 18-20, 2011 in Halifax, Nova Scotia Now in its third year, Halifax provides a unique opportunity for informed leaders to learn from each other, share opinions, generate new ideas and put them into action.

Main plenary sessions at Halifax 2011 included topics such as What’s Changed Since 9/11: Our Enemies? Ourselves? The World?

Speakers
Halifax International Security Forum brings together a broad and diverse group of leaders. Halifax reaches out to close NATO partners as well as like-minded states in Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand and the Middle East and North Africa. Halifax straddles sectors to attract speakers whose position, experience and expertise reflects the range and depth of the agenda.
Participants
Halifax International Security Forum hosts only 300 speakers and participants: among them, cabinet ministers and senior government officials, 4-star generals, justices of supreme courts, legislators, business leaders, journalists, writers, academics, and leaders from prominent think tanks and NGOs.
